Clutter Cloak 0.7 uploaded

March 28, 2008 – 7:44 pm
Clutter Cloak is now written in AutoHotkey instead of C# so it doesn't need .NET to be installed.  It also uses much less memory and starts faster.  Unfortunately, Photo/Video mode can be really slow on the new version if you're running Vista and have Aero switched on, although on fast machines you might not have too much trouble with it. I would appreciate any feedback about the new version, even if it's just to let me know that it works OK for you.  The old stable version (downloaded over 3000 times) will also remain available for the foreseeable future.

Cursory is a new program which enables the mouse cursor to be controlled with the cursor keys.  It also includes functionality similar to Type to Click (teleporting the pointer around the screen) so Type to Click will no longer be maintained.  I've used the excellent Inno Setup to make a simple installer this time, when I get around to it I will also use it to wrap other the other programs on this site.

Just a few changes to make it nicer looking and make the "display selector" icon less confusable with the others.

Nothing very interesting, just a little fix to stop the tooltip from hanging around when the program is disabled, and a clearer double-click tooltip.

This fixes a couple of different graphical glitches, one to do with a mess being left behind on non-painting windows during some drag operations and the shutdown screen, and a weird multimonitor bug where the transparent colour on the selector image was not being handled properly on the second screen.

Swipe to Click 0.14 uploaded - now with icons

January 14, 2008 – 12:08 am
Swipe to Click now uses icons instead of the old textual labels, this is mainly because they are less distracting once you are used to them, but it's a nice bonus that it also looks a bit prettier:

Nothing much new here, I've just abbreviated the tooltips so that they are smaller and less distracting.

This is a new utility that allows the mouse to be used without pressing buttons. See the Swipe to Click page for more details.

Type to Click 0.6 - completely different look

December 7, 2007 – 12:35 am
I have uploaded version 0.6 of Type to Click which in my opinion is much easier to use and nicer looking. As always, any feedback is very welcome.
